“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when they are created by everybody“– Jane Jacobs
Since 2015, One Omaha has focused on addressing the lack of knowledge and resources available to community leaders. We provide opportunities to build leadership skills and conceptual knowledge about community development.
We were created from grassroots leaders who recognized a need for education and training for residents who are willing to invest numerous hours into creating safe and thriving neighborhoods.
One Omaha has a fiscal sponsor agreement with Civic Nebraska since its inception. In 2020, we will move to become an independent 501(c)3 non-profit.
