Engagement Coordinator

Position Summary

One Omaha is seeking an enthusiast who enjoys working with community-based groups for the position of Engagement Coordinator. This position holds a variety of responsibilities related to leading work with community-based organizations, coordinating One Omaha’s presence at meetings, facilitating strategies for neighborhood groups, and building active relationships with community leaders. The Engagement Coordinator will authentically engage and listen to community partners, build their social capital, and serve as a bridge to external resources.

Organization Summary

Founded in 2015, One Omaha supports the development of strong, connected communities through training, engagement, and place-based initiatives. We envision a community where residents have strong decision-making power in all areas and have the confidence to organize, mobilize, and advocate for a better quality of life. We create programs to focus on addressing the lack of knowledge and resources available to community members.

This is an especially exciting time to join our team as One Omaha moves away from having a fiscal sponsor agreement with Civic Nebraska to become an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Salary and Benefits

This position will earn a salary ranging from $43,000 upwards, dependent upon skills and experience. Benefit options include medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Position includes paid time off and a 401K option. This is a full-time exempt position.
