Hey, neighbors – ONE Thing is actually two things this week!
We’re in the process of making a toolkit for our LEAD program that will help neighbors execute different projects. Below is our starter list of tools:
- How to host a block party
- How to start a neighborhood watch
- How to host a neighborhood cleanup
What else should the toolkit include? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If we could hear from you by Dec. 31, that would be great!
ONE Omaha Neighborhood Q&A Sessions
We are launching a series of ONE Omaha Neighborhood Q&A Sessions with folks from different sectors of our community, all of whom have an impact on how our neighborhoods work. Those invited to the sessions will answer questions posed by you and people like you!
The quarterly series starts Tuesday, March 14, with Omaha’s mayoral candidates. The event will be held from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center at UNO.
Please have a discussion at your next association or alliance meeting about the community-based issues you’d like them to address. Then submit your questions to ONE Omaha at oneomaha.org/neighborhoodQ&A.
All viable mayoral candidates will be invited to the forum. Questions? Let me know at 402.547.7473 or email@example.com.
