The name and focus have changed, but the concept is the same – gathering folks together and giving them the tools they need to make their neighborhoods better places. Our annual IN the Neighborhood Conference is now Omaha NeighborFest: Activating People, Places and Spaces. The event, set for Sunday, Sept. 2, is being designed to inspire community development and activate places. We want attendees to leave with practical ideas on how to bring their neighbors together to create vibrant places to live, work and play.
