Neighborhood Leader Spotlight: Marianna Foral

This quarter we want to shine a light on Dahlman resident and Citizens’ Academy alum, Marianna Foral. Marianna is involved with the Dahlman Garden Club, and South Omaha Neighborhood Alliance. She also serves on the Greater Omaha Chamber Young Professionals Public Engagement Committee. Marianna, along with her friend Alex, started the Dahlman Neighborhood Garden on 6th Street and Pierce earlier this year. Them and other volunteers put a ton of work in over the course of the year with amazing results. We strongly recommend you check it out if you’re in the area. Marianna has also served on focus groups for One Omaha’s programming and is assisting with the implementation of a city wide neighborhood needs assessment conducted by the UNO Center for Public and Community Research. We’re happy to know her.
